Prof. Capt. Dr. Balaram Biswakumar
A Senior Clinical Neurologist in active practice as a consultant from 1975 till date. His areas of interests are in clinical neurology, Stroke, Epilepsy, Movement disorder and Neuropathies. Popularly known for his clinical acumen, Dr. Biswakumar completed his DM in Neurology and underwent his training at the National Institute, Queen's Square, London and Oxford, Glasgow, Newcastle.
He served in the rank of Captain in the Army Medical Corps and participated in the 1965 war with Pakistan, medically supporting the troops in the war front. Active Rotarian and Past President.
He is a member of the World Stroke Federation, Movement Disorder Society, New York Academy of Sciences, Fellow, Royal Society of Medicine, London and Internation College of Angiology, New York.

Dr. R. Jayachandran
Dr. Jayachandran has 26 yrs of experience in the field of medicine with special focus on Invasive Electro Physiology & Specialist in Cardiology & Critical Care, had training at Southern Railway Hospital, Perambur, Chennai and associated with Late Prof. S. Rajagopalan in Critical Care since 1981. He is also the Consultant Physician and Cardiologist and in charge of Intensive Care unit of Trinity Acute Care Hospital from 1993 till date.
Dr. Jayachandran had completed his MD in General Medicine and his DM in Coronary Care from Chennai. His main area of interest is in Cardiology and Critical Care.
He is member of the Indian Medical Association, Cardiology Society of India, Electro Cardiology Society of India, Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine.
ONCOLOGY
Dr. Ram Rathan Rai
Dr. Rai has over 30 years of experience as a medical practitioner having completed his MBBS from the Mysore University, Karnataka in the year 1977. He proceeded to complete DGO from Gulbarga University, Karnataka in 1982 and MS (General Surgery) from Mangalore University, Karnataka in 1988.
Dr. Rai is currently the Consultant Surgeon and Medical Director of Dr. Rai Memorial Medical Centre in Chennai.
OPHTHALMOLOGY
Dr. Chandrashekar has worked as Chief of Opthalmology at Hindu Mission Hospital where he established a full fledged Eye care department and performed over 10,000 surgeries. He is one of the pioneers of Multifocal IOL in Chennai city.
Currently he is the Medical Director of Indira Eye Clinic and a consultant Opthalmologist at BSS Hospitals and Venkataeswara Hospitals, Chennai
PLASTIC SURGERY
Dr. Jyotsna Murthy
Dr. Jyotsna Murthy, hailing from Gujarat, completed her MBBS from M S University, Vadodara and MS (General Surgery) from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. She joined plastic surgery training in LTMG hospital, Mumbai and completed her M Ch (Plastic Surgery) from Bombay University with Gold Medal.
After completing her training in plastic surgery, She specialized in Paediatric Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic surgery in France for 4 years. She then moved to UK as Fellow of British Association of Plastic Surgeons before returning to India.
On her return to India, she joined Sri Ramachandra Medical College & RI (DU) in 1996, a prestigious tertiary care center in Southern India. She is at present holding position of Professor of Dept of Plastic Surgeon and Chief Coordinator of Cleft & Craniofacial Center. She is honorary secretary of Indian Society of Cleft Lip, Palate and Craniofacial Anomalies and executive member of Association of Plastic Surgeons of India. She is also an international member of American Society of Cleft Palate & Craniofacial Association and American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeon. She has been and international experts for evaluation of cleft centers in various countries.
ENDOCRINOLOGIST
Dr. C.V.Krishnan
Dr. C.V. Krishnan completed his MD from Delhi University "in 1975 with thesis on Renal Osteodystrophy. He did his PhD in Neuro Endocrinology at Dr. ALM.PG. Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, University of Madras, Chennai. He practised as Physician, F.A.C.T.; J.N.M. Hospital, Udhyogamandal, Kerala, from December 1978 to April 1979 and from April 1979 to 1983, as specialist with special reference to Endocrinology at various Hospitals. Since July 1983 till date he is consultant in Endocrinology - Heading the Division of Endocrinology at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai.
Dr. Krishnan has worked in the fields of Metabolic Bone Disease, PCOD, Menopause in males and females, Paediatric endocrinology etc. Has presented papers in the Congress of the International Society of Gynecological Endocrinologist (1989). Has represented India for the Trialists' meet for Serono Study of Recombinant Growth Hormone (1989). Presently working on the modulatory effect of Pituitary - Leidig Cell Axis on Immunological diseases (like Arthritis, Allergy, Haemolytic Anaemias etc) and Psycho endocrinology (in Depression and Schizoeffective disorders). Represents the center for International study group for Menopause therapy. He has also conducted many researches & presented numerous origial papers in the field of medicine. He is instrumental in initiating & establishing the use of Transferal Miltonic and its widespread use in India through lay press.
He is also a member at various scientific societies including Geriatric Society of India, International Association of Gynecological Endocrinologists, Endocrine Society of India & International Endocrine Society.
